Every year, I create a theme for the year ahead. The theme I start with unfolds but it’s interesting that when I look back on the year, another theme sometime emerges (20/20 hindsight is a beautiful thing). My hindsight theme this year?
2010 – The year of Observation.
It felt like this whole year was viewed from a 30,000 foot elevation. I learned more about myself, my business, my clients, and my family and friends than ever before.

I remember us discussing this, Patty. I’ll give hindsight 8 months into the year: I determined to call more friends and email less (I still email a lot, but I do call!); I determined to write more (I launched my website http://www.GrifWorksWrite.com); I determined to get fit once more (your encouragement helps me keep going!); and I determined to get more involved in my church–I’m blessed to be an Elder!
