Are you staying focused?
Let’s hear it so we can either congratulate you or give you a boost!
Here’s to a great 11/12 of the year!

I am so disorganized that I didn’t set any resolutions. I do however have goals that I want to accomplish this year (writing my 3rd book is one). That’s not going well so perhaps I need to break my goal down into weekily steps to accomplish.

Barbara,
One of the best things to do with any task (resolution or goal) is to break it into baby steps and then schedule each task in your day planner. You’ll be amazed at how much easier your goals can be met by doing this. Let me know how this goes for you!

My new years resolutions are going great. I choose 1 major focus per month and develope a new habit in that area. At the end of the year I have 12 new habits instead of 12 broken new years resolutions
Debi,
Brilliant! Can you give an example of a habit you’ve developed? You are going to have a phenomenal 2009!

My New Year’s resolution was to purge the first quarter of the year. I am trying to focus on one area at a time. I have however donated a lot of things to various organizations, but I have a long way to go. One day at a time.
Well, I’m still struggling with WAY too much to get done in every aspect of my life. But I’m making headway- breaking down projects into smaller peices that I can schedule, starting with the things I’ve been procrastinating the most. I’m trying to keep a clear deck- processing the new stuff as it comes into may life so that I’m not piling more onto my back log of work. Involving the kids with their input on what would make our week’s run smoother and getting them involved in the solutions. Still struggling with keeping positive against the sheer magnitude of it all.
Angie, take baby steps…just be careful not to take one step forward and two steps back. Try to slow down the incoming stuff if possible. It’s all about choices!
